Saturnacan.net was started in the early days of the world wide web, under the Federal Community Access Program. In September, 2015 the Saturna Community Club decided to update the site in a free collaboration with the students and staff of Q College in Victoria. In the decade since that update, Saturnacan's use as a public forum and local event site has diminished as social sites such as Facebook have grown in popularity.There is some interest in updating its outdated software and relaunching the site as a Saturna community portal. But at the moment, this site will stay in a fairly static site with few updates to content. As of May, 2025, all Saturna Community Club committee pages, including the Community Hall Booking Calendar have migrated to a new website with URL: https://saturnacommunityclub.ca/
