Saturnacan.net was started under the Federal Community Access Program and has been running for over 20 years as a community website.

In the fall of 2015 the Saturna Community Club decided to update the site in a free collaboration with the students and staff of Q College in Victoria. This new website was designed to help people who care about Saturna Island keep up to date with what is happening in the community. Using a new dynamic front page for current events, news, in depth articles and classifieds, the rest of the site provides access to information of interest to residents and visitors, often by linking to already existing Saturna webpages.
